Viva is a performing arts class for children who are of Pre-school age. This vibrant class incorporates singing, pitch recognition and correct vocal production, playing high quality tuned and untuned percussion instruments, speech-based rhythms, dancing, dramatic role play energetic games, and activities using props, puppets, and storytelling, as well as exploring music from all around the world. 

Early childhood music education has been proven to help facilitate in the areas of language and speech development, logical reasoning, cognitive function, social development, emotional intelligence, and confidence. This age group are the movers and groovers who rarely sit still, and we recognise the importance of gross and fine motor skill progression throughout these formative years. We also include strategies for self-regulation and calming through sensory play towards the end of each session. Music really is a whole body and mind workout, while making new friends in a happy, encouraging environment!
