Kim is a proud Gippsland girl, a qualified occupational therapist and a musician.
She has spent most of her OT career working in the paediatric sector, supporting children and families in a wide range of areas including emotional wellbeing, positive behaviour strategies, and teaching fun and practical ways to promote overall development.
After working in a wide variety of settings including hand therapy for almost 2 years her love for teaching was fuelled. Over the past several years Kim has had lots of opportunities to teach, including allied health students, running school classes and large kinder groups activities.
Kim especially loves playing bass in both individual and group music for fun. She acknowledges deeply the benefits of music for adults and children not just for their development, but also invites connection to others, builds resilience and can help immensely with self-regulation.
Davina brings to the Fiddlesticks team ten years of experience teaching in primary schools local to Baw Baw Shire. After moving to Neerim South from the suburbs in 2011, Davina with her husband and their growing family of boys built a little house on a piece of paradise and are proud to call this incredible corner of the world home.
She has a great love for community, families and friendships and the aspect of helping everyone find their village to support and nurture each other. You may have met Davina in the past coordinating a music and movement playgroup in Neerim South and more recently building a playgroup community at Buln Buln Primary.
Davina especially has a passion in her teaching for language development, learning through play and exploring how music supports these areas. She especially loves working with puppets and the freedom it brings children in speech and expression.
In a spare moment you will find Davina tending her vegetable patch, baking something delicious or cruising around the ballroom dance floor.

Libby Willems, a well-known local musician and songwriter in Baw Baw Shire has decades of musical experiences under her belt. Libby uses her diverse knowledge of songs and her ability to connect with people, young and old.
Between 2001-2008, Libby worked as a Music Specialist for an Early Years early-intervention program for 0-3 year-old children. Her Bachelor of Applied Science (Disability Studies) provided the learning and development knowledge to support very young children and their families during that precious and critical window of development. Her music experiences gave her a swag of tools to use for fun and playful, purposeful games. Working with her sister Valerie Jarred, the Do What I Do - The Willems Sisters children’s album was released in 2002 and is available on streaming platforms.
You can often catch Libby performing at pubs and venues around Gippsland with both covers and original works, leading local singing group ‘Baw Baw Singers’, teaching voice at local secondary schools or providing mental health certification and training in our area.
