End of Semester

We are half way through the year, can you believe it? Our team once again has enjoyed providing the Fiddlesticks community with music, friendship and fun.

Our emphasis this term has been largely on beat and rhythm to help the young children to catch up on some speech development. Language and speech delays are certainly a big deal for many little one's after watching adults in masks for most of their lives! Facial cues, expressions and social skills that many of us would normally take for granted, are very new to a child and can be still overwhelming if facing a stranger.

Thankfully, we are seeing speedy progress. Libby, Davina and I are all Mum's of older children and we all have teaching backgrounds. We are always happy to give advice and feedback to help you navigate these developmental challenges. Also remember to use your online content at home to continue supporting your child and keeping the musical fun going throughout the whole week!

Fiddlesticks came about during a deep and difficult time in my life. When I needed a Village most, I built one.
